See the Tower of London and Crown Jewels
Founded in 1066 by the famous William the Conqueror, the Tower of London is known as one of the most famous and interesting fortresses in the world. In the last thousand years, it has been a Royal Palace, a place for holding prisoners and torture and execution along with an armoury. The Tower is guarded by Beefeaters who will tell you fascinating stories of the Towers past! The Tower also holds the Crown Jewels, including the famous and magnificent solid gold crown that was used in the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, along with the huge Cullinan diamonds and the magnificent Koh-i-Noor.
Once your tour has been completed at the Tower of London, we offer our guests the opportunity to take the Thames River Cruise from the Tower to Embankment Pier, here you are able to use the underground or taxis, or you can take the coach and tour guide back to Victoria Coach Station and use the tickets for the Thames River Cruise on another day in London.
Please note that if you are taking this tour on a Sunday in London, that due to church services St Paul's Cathedral is closed to visitors on this day. The tour will still stop for photographs outside, and to compensate we will spend longer touring the Tower of London.
